Life These Days...

It’s more than a month since I touched upon the blog spot. Time flew, and how! Home trip and mom were at their best. Well I conveniently forget my bro & dad each time I describe about home, no such reasons. Not exactly a Mumma’s boy as well ;) Had got plans not to come back, but each time circumstances backed by my real practical father kick me out to Mumbai. As I reached Mumbai last week to prepare for one battle at a new ground, the heart told me that “dude, not again”. Just consoled it by saying “just once more, one last time”. New people around, environment is more like a family out there in the workplace. Problem is I’ll be the catalyst to make things organized, do I need to do that? Sometimes, I feel we should let things happen as they are happening for years, with their own stupid ways and mistakes. Good that way. Anyways, need to mind my own job. Few new gadgets are in the queue to be bought, economy crunch is denying me, but I always defied my crunches with more spending. So this time it would be no different. Read somewhere that you should buy what you need, not what you want. Has done the later always in my life. Seems hard to change it. Hard to change anything in life, just anything.

@ Nivi: 1. Having said so much about "home'sick'ness", I must say Mumbai is too damn addictive for a guy like me... anyways it's my second home. So, tough to move back as well :)
2. Gadgets can't wait, savings can! This has been my way of life.
3. Thanks for your wishes dear.

Subha had lost track of your blog...saw it today. True we guys may not always mention our bro & dad though always expressive how fond we are of our mom and the wonderful food that she cooks for us but that does not mean that we are not close to our dad n bro. In fact for me both dad n bro are just great. That’s why really I liked the punch “Not exactly a Mumma;s boy as well” as often people kind of get a wrong impression…I sometimes feel that perhaps they are not just matured enough to understand guys like us. Anyways would like to say once again whatever you say or your father says everything depends on how much you love your home and especially your ODISSA & off course your willpower to stay back in ODISSA and contribute towards its development in whatever small or big way you can by realizing its huge untapped potential & utilizing your talent in whatever best possible way to give the state it’s due recognition, its lost name & fame. I mean common man it’s your birthplace and yes ,you owe a lot to it. And why just you each and every Odiya worth his salt, who are proud to say that they are from ODISSA, should comeback & contribute to give this state its glory back. See it’s not that I am unable to understand your situation or the situation of thousands of other Odiya who work outside ODISSA to earn a living nor do I say that you people don’t love this state but what I want to say if you really love your home so much…your birth place then why don’t you come back and get a job over here. There may be a bit struggle initially, salary may be little less but it’s nothing compared to the happiness of being in your birthplace and being able to contribute to its prosperity. Just imagine if all the Narayan Murthys, Tatas, Ambanis , Mallyas etc would have settled in abroad for better prospects over there without contributing to INDIA when this country was in its very nascent stage of development just like our state then INDIA today still would have been the land of elephants ,tigers ,tribals & snake charmers. But their love for this country made them settled in INDIA & initially though they had to struggle & perhaps they even didn’t knew how to contribute towards the country development yet they persisted in their efforts & produced great results for us to see n appreciate. Our ODISSA of today is like the INDIA of yesteryears & we must realize it!!!
Subha if you really believe in the power of love..love towards your home..your birthplace..your state and understand that how much your very ODISSA needs talented individual like you then convincing your father is like a cakewalk. Always remember “Where there is a WILL there is a WAY”
